National Ruger Day - Did you miss the fact that tomorrow, October 22nd is October 22nd? Ruger certainly wasn't. They named it Ruger Day for obvious reasons and tomorrow will be the fifth Ruger Day since they started their annual celebration.

On October 22, 2017, Ruger celebrated the inaugural "Ruger Day," a day to celebrate all things Ruger and celebrate on 10/22 because of our ubiquitous 10/22 rifle. Since then, Ruger has made October 22 a day for Ruger fans to share their favorite Ruger stories, take their Ruger firearms to the range and visit dealers to purchase Ruger firearms and new accessories. Ruger Day is not only a celebration of Ruger traditions, but also a celebration of the gun industry.

We think the best way to celebrate this sacred occasion is to get yourself out on a beautiful fall Saturday and send some leads. Using a 10/22 rifle is the best way to achieve this on Ruger Day.

That's the beauty of 10/22. The beloved and ubiquitous rimfire is so widespread, so affordable, so fun and easy to shoot that it's become its own platform. With many aftermarket options available, gun owners love to use a 10/22 as a base to customize it and create almost anything they want. Its modularity and versatility are almost on par with AR platforms.

So the best way to watch 10/22 tomorrow is to get out your rifle - or another Ruger...or hell, any other gun - and, you know, shoot it. Better yet, bring others with you. Preferably someone who has never fired a gun before. 10/22 is a great way to get a gun into novice hands and generate a new shooter's smile.
